How Payment Works

The IDR 26,000,000 total consists of an IDR 24,000,000 training fee paid to Oceans 5 and an IDR 2,000,000 professional registration and initial membership fee paid directly to SSI.

Approximately 6–8 weeks.

The exact daily schedule depends on training requirements, dive-center operations, weather and sea conditions.

What Is Not Included?

Accommodation

Accommodation on Gili Air is not automatically included in the internship price.

You can arrange accommodation independently according to your preferred location, comfort level and budget.

Personal Diving Equipment

Equipment rental is included during the internship, but before completing the internship you are required to own:

Dive computer
Compass
SMB and Reel

Other Expenses

Other personal expenses, travel costs and living expenses are also separate.

Flexible Start Dates

Our SSI Divemaster internship does not have fixed intake dates. You can request a start date that suits your plans, subject to availability. Tell us your preferred date, current certification and number of logged dives, and our team will confirm what is possible.

To join the SSI Divemaster internship, you must meet the following entry requirements:

Minimum age: 18 years
Advanced Open Water certification
Diver Stress and Rescue certification
React Right certification
Medical fitness to dive
40 logged dives
