A Divemaster internship is more than professional training. At Oceans 5 Gili Air, you’ll experience daily dive-center life, spend regular time in the water, learn from experienced professionals and assist with dive operations. Each day can vary depending on the weather, dive schedule, training needs and center activities.
There is no single schedule that every intern follows.
Your daily routine will depend on your training stage, the dive center’s schedule, booked trips, weather and operational needs.
A typical day may include
Start the day at the dive center, prepare your equipment and get ready for the scheduled diving activities.
Join the boat, assist with preparations and participate in the day’s diving according to your training and responsibilities.
Return to the dive center or harbour, review the previous dive, prepare for the next activity and take some time to relax.
Continue with diving, pool training, theory, skills development or other internship activities depending on the schedule.
After the day’s activities, you have free time to explore Gili Air, meet other divers, relax or prepare for the next day.
