SSI Divemaster Internship in Indonesia

My journey with Oceans 5 has been a very meaningful one. As a Marine Science graduate, I always knew I wanted to build a career connected to the ocean. After working in a completely different field, I decided to make a career change and return to something I genuinely care about.

I started my journey at Oceans 5 with my Advanced Open Water, followed by React Right and Rescue, and eventually continued all the way to my Divemaster.

Throughout the journey, the team and instructors were incredibly supportive and patient. I learned so much not only about diving and safety, but also about marine life and how to explore the ocean with more respect and awareness.

I’m truly grateful to Oceans 5 for being part of such an important transition in my career and for helping me turn my passion for the ocean into something real.

My Divemaster internship at Oceans 5 Gili Air was a special experience. What stood out most was how professionally the dive shop is run. I learned so much during my training and felt proud to be part of the team.

One of the best parts was meeting people from all over the world who became my friends. Sharing dives, learning together, and spending time on Gili Air gave me memories I’ll always treasure.

Now, working as a Divemaster at Oceans 5 Gili Air is a dream come true. I get to share my passion for the ocean with other divers and help them learn more about marine life and how to respect it.
