Want to become a dive professional? At Oceans 5 Gili Air, you can train as an SSI Divemaster while gaining practical experience in a working dive center. Our interns develop their diving, leadership and communication skills alongside experienced instructors and Divemasters.

Our international internship runs for approximately 6–8 weeks. You will work towards your SSI Divemaster qualification through workshops, regular diving and supervised experience with the Oceans 5 team. It is designed for divers who want time to practise professional skills and understand how a dive center operates day to day.
Our four-month internship for Indonesian citizens gives local divers the opportunity to train as SSI Divemasters without paying an Oceans 5 tuition fee. Candidates pay for their SSI digital materials and professional membership. The longer program provides time to develop skills and gain experience within the dive team.
Want to learn more about the marine environment? Our Eco Divemaster Internship combines professional Divemaster training with five SSI Ecology Specialties, helping you deepen your understanding of marine life, ecosystems and conservation.
Secure your place and preferred start date with a 27% deposit. Once your deposit has been received, you will receive access to your SSI Divemaster digital learning materials so you can begin studying before arrival. The deposit is part of the total program price, and the remaining 73% is paid at the dive centre.
