Training Divers on Gili Air
Oceans 5 Gili Air is an SSI Instructor Training Center on Gili Air, Indonesia. Our instructors train divers in an active dive center, combining structured learning with practical experience in the water and on the boats.
Divemaster interns become part of that daily environment, learning from the team while developing the skills and confidence needed for professional diving.
Learn in a Working
Dive Center
Your training takes place during the daily operation of Oceans 5. You’ll help prepare equipment, join dive briefings and boat trips, and practise communicating with guests. As your skills develop, you’ll take on more Divemaster tasks under supervision.
An SSI Instructor
Training Center
Oceans 5 trains divers from beginner through professional level. During your Divemaster internship, you’ll practise skills in our two training pools and apply them on dives around the Gili Islands. You’ll also see how instructors prepare and run courses.
Learn From Our
Dive Professionals
Our instructors, Divemasters and boat crew each play a part in a safe diving day. By working with them, you’ll practise dive planning, briefings and supporting divers before and after a dive. You’ll receive feedback as you build the judgment needed to guide certified divers.
